Susie Atkinson Design

After studying at the Inchbald, Susie worked with Chester Jones for a couple of years and set up her own studio in 1998. Since then the team has expanded and recently completed projects include Lime Wood Hotel, a 1930s motor yacht and a contemporary penthouse apartment in central London.

Mixing old and new, Susie creates individual spaces that are inviting, timeless and indulge all of our senses. Her style is welcoming, and the aim is always to craft environments that people want to spend time in. Working with British makers and craftspeople, she achieves an elegant balance of texture, pattern and colour, with an emphasis on natural and sustainable materials.
